Baek debuts in the second game and his anime appearance in Tekken: The Motion Picture as he had shoulder length black hair tied in a low ponytail. In his in-game appearance in Tekken 2 until Tekken Tag Tournament, he is depicted to have brown hair. In Tekken 5 and onwards, his hair is now gray due to aging.

As a child, he has short brown hair and wears a light blue short sleeve shirt, blue pants and black sneakers. In his ending in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, he is depicted to wear shorts instead of pants.

Tekken 2

Baek appears to have black hair in his CGI appearance and his ending but in his in-game appearance he is depicted to have brown hair.

Player 1 outfit:

Baek wears a beige taekwondo dobok with a sign "Korea" at the back of his dobok with a black hangul on left side and a large hangul at the back, matching beige pants with tatters in the edge of his pants with a black martial arts belt and red ankle wraps.

In his ending he wears the locket from his Player 2 outfit to remember his father and white sneakers.

In Tekken: The Motion Picture, he wears this outfit and his hair is still black which he was based on his CGI appearance.

Player 2 outfit:

This is his casual outfit and he was seen in shirtless and wears a red vest with a large taegeuk at back of his vest, pale blue jeans with a black belt to his waist and black shoes. He also wears black wristbands in both of his wrists and wears a locket which is his picture between his father and himself.

This outfit is later seen in his Tekken 5 prologue after it was revealed that he survives Ogre's attack at the events between Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 and his jeans are seen in tatters.

Baek's hair is naturally brown like his in-game appearance.
