Daisuke Gōri

February 8, 1952 – January 17, 2010

Daisuke Gōri (郷里 大輔 Gōri Daisuke) was a Japanese voice actor who voiced Heihachi Mishima (from Tekken 3 to Tekken 6) and many other titles where Heihachi has appeared in as well as Tekken: The Motion Picture, Death by Degrees, Namco X Capcom and Soulcalibur II.

Daisuke Gōri suffered from diabetes mellitus and a few years prior to his death, his vision was affected by retinal detachment as a result of the disease. In January 2010, his body was found lying on his stomach with blood dripping from his wrists in the middle of the streets of Nakano, Tokyo. The police found a utility knife and suicide note to his family in his body and ruled his death as suicide by wrist cutting.
