Leo vs Anna in TK6 Gold Rush

Gold Rush Mode is a game mode that only appears in the PlayStation Portable versions of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection and Tekken 6.

Description[]

In this mode, the player must deal as much damage as possible to their opponent within 30 seconds. Each hit adds up the gold value. If the player is hit, they will lose a great amount of gold earned. The higher the difficulty and the better the combos, the more gold is awarded when the opponent is hit.

If the player is knocked out by the opponent, the gold reward will zero out and the game ends. After 30 seconds, the player will receive the gold value from the results.

In Tekken 6, the player cannot be knocked out even if they have taken a lot of damage. The only way to lose the fight is to receive more damage than they have dealt within the 30 second time limit, which will also zero out the reward.

Trivia[]

  • In Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, it takes place at the Galleon stage; in Tekken 6, it takes place at the High Roller's Club stage.
  • In both renditions of the game, it is fairly easy to lose a heavy amount of gold gain by any successful hit from the opponent. That is why it is recommended to block every possible hit from an opponent.
