Hell Lancer, or simply known by fans as Demon Slash Kick, is a move possessed by Kazuya Mishima and is introduced in his appearance in Tekken 4.
In Tekken 8, when transformed into Devil (which is the automatic effect of going into Heat with Kazuya) this move becomes Tempest Blaster.
Description[]
Kazuya performs a crouch dash then leaps forward while delivering a high-flying left kick on the opponent's head, flinging them backwards.
Usage[]
While boasting excellent range and decent speed, Hell Lancer falters in use due to its poor advantage on block and providing little options for okizeme if it hits anyway. The move would typically be used, however, as a staple combo ender in Tekken Tag Tournament 2 as it was one of Kazuya's longer range tools as well as one of his most damaging enders. It would still see some use in Tekken 7 in a similar function due to the quick recovery time of Slaughter High Kick.
