A Homing Attack(ホーミングアタック Hōmingu Atakku) is a type of move that can track and hit an opponent while they are sidestepping. This mechanic was introduced in Tekken 6, although some moves had this property in previous games such as Jun's Leg Cutter, it did not become a classified type of attack until Tekken 6 and will notably hit catch an opponent in either direction they sidestep.
Examples of homing moves are Devil Jin's Last Rites (f, F+4) and Decapitating Sword (u/b+2)
Outside of homing moves, certain attacks still possess some tracking properties in a particular direction such as Devil Jin's Laser Cannon which can only track opponents sidestepping to the left.
Since their introduction, the limbs characters use to perform homing moves give off a faint white aura while executing them.
