Moonlit Wilderness is a stage in Tekken 5. This stage is set at night during a full moon.

Description[]

The area has a decrepit abbey in the background, and is surrounded by a large expanse of hills with white, feathery flowers that can be seen both in the foreground and shifting in the wind in the background. There are also a few dead trees around the area, some visibly damaged and decaying, and a few large stones, one of which has the roots of one of the dead trees wrapped around it.

Trivia[]

  • As noticeable from the large gothic arch windows, the ruined structure in the background of this stage is a ruined cathedral or abbey.
  • As the stage is located in the United Kingdom, it is likely inspired by ruined abbeys such as Tintern Abbey or Melrose Abbey.
  • The flowers in this stage, judging from their stem and flower, are likely thistles, with the white fluffy part being thistledown. Thistles can be found all over the United Kingdom, but are the native flower of Scotland, where Melrose Abbey is situated.
  • A daylight version of this stage, Great Plains, can be found in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection.
    • In this version of the stage the wildflowers in the foreground are daisies, and the trees that appear in the stage are in full growth rather than dead.
  • Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has a remake of this stage with the same name, though it takes place within the ruined abbey itself.
    • The Tekken Tag Tournament 2 version of this stage is more noticeably based on Byland Abbey in North Yorkshire.
  • Stage 7 in Story Mode and Time Attack Mode usually takes place at this stage or the Burning Temple stage for characters without a stage 7 sub-boss.
    • Jin's stage 7 battle in Story Mode will always take place here, even though he has no stage 7 sub-boss.
