Odeum of illusions stage
Gimmick Walls

Odeum of Illusions is a stage in the console version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Description

The stage takes place in Poland with a magician attempting to complete a magic trick. The magician stands on a stage surrounded by large red curtains, performing magic tricks in front of a roaring crowd with confetti flying everywhere. Surrounding him are a floating table with a white sheet, large floating playing cards, and flying doves. Above the stage is a sign that reads "Magic Show". At either side of the area the players fight in, there is a large doorway with more red curtains, one with a sign overhead that reads "Wonder Illusion", and the other with a sign that reads "Dreams & Fantasy". The stages are lit with bright spotlights and the walls and main stage are lined with light bulbs. Opposite the stage the magician is performing on is an audience separated from the fighting area by red velvet ropes and gold, metal fencing.

Beyond the audience seats are yet more balcony seats. Banners hang over the audience which have images of the magician as well as his two assistants, who can be seen floating over the audience through the duration of the show.

Background Music

The stage BGM is titled "Fantastic Theater".

Trivia

  • This stage can only be chosen via random selection, or by pressing △/Y/X during stage select in the PS3/Xbox 360/Wii U versions respectively.
  • The stage's name in Polish is "Odeon Iluzji".
  • If one looks closely enough at the background before the battle actually starts, the magician can be seen accompanied by two females in long dresses on both sides of him, possibly his volunteers. They are only shown partially in the beginning, as he makes them disappear. But as the audience becomes visible, the two women can later be seen flying around above the audience.
  • There are a crowd of eagerly cheering men who have moved up from the first row and are now directly standing and observing behind the gate in front. When the player gets close or one player hits the wall in a wall splat, the men will jump back up and yell "Oi!". The men will only continue to cheer as normal once the players are further away from where the men are standing.
  • If the player looks closely, posters of Tekken 4 and Tekken: Blood Vengeance can be seen in the background lining the walls near the audience.
