Tactics

To avoid being attacked by his/her Rage Art during execution, is to use block (if the Rage Art has no unblockable property like Street Fighter's Akuma), sidestepping and ducking. In the Fated Retribution, two more tactics are also seen in the game such as jumping from behind and quickly knocks the opponent when his/her Rage Art are executed.

The main example is when the player is able to outsmart his/her opponent when they execute their Rage Art in desperation but ends up in a failed execution before the player would easily knock them down for the count. (e.g.. After the opponent using Jin executes his Rage Art, the player using Lucky Chloe manages to outsmart him by ducking before knocking him out with a single blow or If the latter executes her Rage Art, Jin manages to block it and beats her down with a Power Crush.)

In the updated version, it can also avoid his/her Rage Art by jumping from behind to knock them down during execution and quickly beats the opponent when his/her Rage Art are already executed at this point. (e.g.. the player using Master Raven executes her Rage Art, the player using Nina was still on her special attack pose as it quickly knocks her out when it moves to prevent her from executing her Rage Art.)
