Paul sidestepping in Tekken Tag Tournament.
Sidestepping is a type of movement introduced in Tekken 2, where it was exclusive to Kazuya Mishima and called the Mist Step. In Tekken 3, the sidestep became a universal move available to all characters. Sidesteps are performed by tapping up or down. They can be used to avoid ordinary attacks, unblockable attacks and throws. Sidesteps can also be used to switch sides with the opponent.
