Asuka Kazama was not born in 1985. While the birth month and day may be correct, the year is absolutely way off. Tekken takes place in 1994, with Tekken 2 being a year or two after that. 1995 or 1996, depending on if you're going by arcade release or PlayStation release date. Tekken 3's story begins FIFTEEN YEARS after Tekken 2, not in 1998. The actual tournament takes place two years later, I believe, when Jin Kazama is seventeen -- which is why he and Ling Ziaoyu both have student uniforms in Tekken 3, and why Asuka has one in Tekken's 5 & 6. Tekken 3 takes place in either 2010 or 2012.
