Name[]

His name means "one eight"? Isn' t it one eighth? BlackMage9 12:43, February 3, 2011 (UTC)

Birthdate[]

Went ahead and removed that rediculous, baseless birthdate.

What sources do you have that say that Kazuya is a protagonist in Tekkens 4-6?  Also, TTT isn't canon, so there are no protagonists and antagonists, except for Unknown. Cdk2001 (talk) 16:50, March 8, 2020 (UTC)

Tekken 7[]

So is Kazuya the protagonist of Tekken 7? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Awesomekid120 (talkcontribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~

As of now its too early to say, no statement (far as I'm aware) has been made on who is the game's lead character. Also, please sign your messages after you written them, thank you.--212.116.79.172 13:30, March 1, 2015 (UTC)

It would be interesting if he was and sorry I forgot to sign

Defeated Heihachi in Tekken 4?[]

I had been under the impression over the years that Heihachi had beat Kazuya in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, then took him to Hon-Maru where both lost to Jin. Do we have any sources indicating that Kazuya had beat Heihachi in Tekken 4?

Nkstjoa (talk) 00:50, February 25, 2019 (UTC)

It's a mix between Jin, Kazuya and Heihachi. In the tournament Jin and Kazuya were meant to fight, but the Tekken Force captured Jin before he could make it, so Kazuya won that match my default. Then Kazuya and Heihachi fought in the arena as the last fight, Kazuya lost to heihachi, who brought him to Hon Maru. Then Devil took over, blasted Heihachi and taunted Jin. Jin wakes up breaks the chains, defeats Kazuya and then Heihachi, and flies away. Then Jack-s happen.

Edit: Also, the article just describes what happens in the game. If you look at Heihachi's page, it describes Heihachi winning, as it happened in his story mode.

On this basis, I will change the trivia note that claims Kazuya won the 4th Iron First Tournament Erenaeoth (talk) 19:23, April 8, 2020 (UTC)

Nationality[]

What is the source for Kazuya 'abandoning his nationality'? I haven't come across this before, and if we have a source it would be good to include it and put the reference in, or else remove this addition. Erenaeoth (talk) 15:22, March 8, 2020 (UTC)

It's on the Japanese website. https://www.tekken-official.jp/tk7fr-r2/character/detail.php?chara=kazuya Toilethead101 (talk 19:13, March 5, 2019 (PST)

Many thanks, this would be a good link to add to the references. I notice it can also be found on the English site too, so I will use that as a reference (http://tk7.tekken.com/fighters/kazuya) Erenaeoth (talk) 15:26, March 8, 2020 (UTC)

An 'Irremediable' Villain[]

Removing the word 'irremediable' from the short biography from the sentence "Kazuya was in truth intended to be an irremediable villain from the start", as it adds little to the sentence, and is potentially confusing, since the point of the Angel/Devil dynamic and Jun Kazama in Tekken 2 is that there is some potential for Kazuya to be good, even if he ultimately chooses not to be. Erenaeoth (talk) 17:00, March 8, 2020 (UTC)

Kazuya's Citizenship[]

Maybe Kazuya doesn't belong to a nation, but should it be noted that he abdicated his citizenship for reasons unknown? No edits to Kazuya Mishima will be made by me as of this time. Mkim31 (talk) 14:10, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

Protected by Administrators for a reason[]

I believe the same should be done to Jin Kazama *AND* Jun Kazama since they play key elements of the latest story, "The Dark Awakens" (IMO it should be "Darkness Awakens"). Plausible reasons is because people will be editing the page with spoilers about Tekken 8, so that should be protected for only Admins and up until 6 months from now, which is this summer, maybe longer. Just my two cents. Mkim31 (talk) 13:08, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

Jun Kazama Relationship Status[]

We've had had a few instances that has shown some information regarding the relationship between the two. Harada and Michael Murray have stated in a interview last year that Jun Kazama is Kazuya's wife. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4UNeWH75FQU&t Go to 12:33-34.

We also know it was stated again in a Famitsu article last year as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/Tekken/comments/129x7r3/marriage_reaffirmed_in_new_famitsu_article_jun_is/

If the statements from the directors are reliable, should they not be taken as fact?

---
Harada has stated numerous times that they are not married and there is no canonical evidence for marriage. Famitsu are not a canon source and have no basis for this claim. Erenaeoth (talk) 15:21, 1 March 2024 (UTC)
